SUMMARY

We are pleased to invite you to the 2022 CCBM Workshop on Emerging Themes in Cellular and Biomolecular Machines with an Interthrust Focus, at the University of California, Merced. The research focus will be on Synthetic Biology and Biomimetics.

We will feature speakers from across the country and from UC Merced. We are excited to feature research at the interfaces of the center thrusts. Please find more information here (also below) on the center’s research areas.

The will integrate talks, discussions, a poster session, networking, and opportunities for collaborations. Travel expenses will be covered for invited speakers, with funding from the National Science Foundation. The sessions will be open to all UC Merced affiliates as well as interested external and community attendees.

Through this workshop, the invited guests and UC Merced affiliates will have an opportunity to discuss overlapping scientific topics at the newest campus of the University of California system as well as in a unique natural setting. Our 2019 Workshop included several distinguished faculty talks and had a great turnout and discussions on both days.

Parking at UC Merced in University Lot ("CCBM Workshop" spots).
