Joe Lopes will be going to Brandeis University after having successfully defending his dissertation at UC Merced. Through his research in the Hirst Lab, he created a novel membrane based active matter system inspired from his work in membrane-motor interactions. Joe will be working with Professor Guillaume Duclos and Professor Bruce Goode at a post-doc. Congratulations, Joe!
