CCBM Encourages Curiosity in Science with CREST STEM Camp

The CCBM is excited to host elementary school students for the CREST STEM Camp this summer! Students who participate in the camp will interact with different types of science in the fields of engineering, biological science, physics, and chemistry. Students will also participate in computational science. 

 

CREST STEM Camp

July 8-12, 2019, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm M-F

Students who have completed grades 3-4; Up to 24 students

Location: UC Merced

Engineering, biological science, physics, chemistry and computational science are the focus of the National Science Foundation-funded CREST center’s research and education mission. In this camp, students will actively participate in stimulating hands-on activities and projects, lectures, discussions, campus tours, lab tours and interactions with scientists and engineers. This summer camp will increase students’ exposure to stimulating STEM topics, the practice of STEM and how STEM benefits society.
