Stanford Biosciences is comprised of seventeen PhD programs, fourteen of which have a shared application and funding model. Students pursuing their PhDs in the Biosciences at Stanford are typically fully funded, which includes tuition, medical and dental insurance, and a competitive stipend. Currently there are close to 700 students enrolled in the Stanford Biosciences from various diverse backgrounds.
Stanford Biosciences also houses the Stanford Summer Research Program, a fully-funded 9-week residential research program for undergraduates interested in pursuing graduate studies.
