April 18, 2019

On Wednesday, April 24, CREST Intern, Asmaa Mohamed, will be featured during the Student Success Internship (SSI) Symposium Poster Session at the University of California, Merced. Ms. Mohamed has been working with the NSF-CREST Center for Cellular and Biomolecular Machines since December 2018 and has made a remarkable impact in the center and local community. Under the guidance of CCBM Executive Director, Carrie Kouadio, Ms. Mohamed developed and implemented center-related STEM education and outreach resources and modules. Ms. Mohamed led hands-on sessions during the January 2019 AAUW Mother and Daughter Science Camp, the 3rd Annual UC Merced SPLASH Conference, and several other community-driven events.

Please join us as we celebrate the wonderful work Ms. Mohamed has accomplished in just 4 short months with the CCBM!
